How to remove jar files
I have created one webservice project in eclipse. It generate.war file. Now when I try to access the project from browser it says that we need to deploy the war file.
After googling I got the idea of using java web start.
And in my case I already have a.jar file.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to remove the.jar file.

In your project properties, go to Deployment -> Deployment Assembly -> New
You can select “Add jar to the build”
Now you can remove the.jar file if you’re not using it anymore.

Normally an application (running java webstart) has three Jars it needs to run a Java application:
javaws
jnlp_client
jnlp
The javaws will be in the WEB-INF folder of the WAR, which is normally also a standard location for jnlp and jnlp_client.
So if you use a build system, like Maven, you will have a WEB-INF/lib folder and you can just copy the jar you want to use for javaws, into WEB-INF/lib/javaws.jar and the webstart should run.
You can also use an ant script to include a jar in your WAR file. I assume you are using a build system like maven.
If you don’t use a build system, you can usually find the jnlp file in the repository. If you use mercurial, there is a release script that will download it for you from a central mercurial repo (the mercurial server).
