Native Instruments Massive X 1.2.1

Mac users should go to their Apple web site to get the Safari update that includes this new update, instead of installing it. In that case you will not have to restart your machine. To restart it go to Apple menu at the top of the screen then select Restart, it is better to do that before patching Massive, as the machine may hang when you click on the patch (since Safari will be running). It’s been in the works for a while, and it will be a good update!

I currently use AUv4 on OSX with dedicated audio hardware (Logic Pro X). A lot of plugins work without any issues, but I run into crashes intermittently and currently use the Ultratune Peak DSP effect to smooth out audio. I’ve been using the VST version of NI Massive for several years and have tried 1.2.0, 1.2.2, 1.2.4, 1.2.1, and 1.2.2 and all of them give me crashes every time I use Peak. I’ve tried everything I can think of with no success. I’ve rebooted my machine multiple times as well as cleared all caches and temp files. I’ve also tried the latest Safari, Firefox, and Chrome browsers and it has made no difference. Massive does crash with all plug ins no matter what plugin, and I’m talking about Ultratune Peak, Ethereal, Interphase, and Dynamic. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using Massive for a year with no problems. Then two months ago, sometimes my Massive will crash. I have updated Massive using the Mac updater, rebooted, closed all other applications. I have checked versions and only got the 1.2.1.1 version that has not been updated. Is there anything I can do to restore my Massive and stop crashing?

massive x instruments this does not mean that novus has created a collection of simplistic and dull effects, however. novus has added a number of useful modulations to massive x, including a pitch-bend, vibrato, glide and slide. also included is a touch of flange. theres also a little bit of modulation to the filter section with a delay, modulation, chorus, glide and flange. all these effects are added to the fx section, which is all thrown together in a very easy to use interface.
midi learn novus has added some modulations, such as pitch bend, slide and vibrato, to the fx section of massive x. these can all be controlled using midi learn, and with the new quantised midi learn they can also be controlled by a range of controllers. in addition, novus has added more useful fx to the fx section, including modulation effects like flange, chorus, delay, phaser and reverb.
extra fx in addition to all the aforementioned effects, novus has added a small selection of extra fx to the fx section of massive x. this includes a modulated comb filter, a lowpass filter, a modulation filter and a reverb. all of these effects can also be controlled by midi learn.
real organ pipe up a massive sound organ with the new organ section of massive x. novus has added a powerful 12-voice real organ. in addition to the amazing real organ section, novus has also added a range of modulations, including modulation, flange, delay, phaser and reverb. these can all be controlled by midi learn. with midi learn, it is possible to control these effects with a range of controllers, such as the novus-2, novation launchpad and even a djm-900nxs.
