im not sure if u can compete with the ai in wii-fucking-boxing. im a pretty decent boxer but i beat my ass day in and day out. i beat a lot of the ai because its not smart as it is in a lot of games. it doesnt remember hits or combos. if i get hit by a left hook it doesnt connect. if i do a cross counter or uppercut combo it doesnt connect. its just a straight up punching sim. its not even a fighting game. in the beginning, i had a hard time with the cross counter, but once i got used to it, i was able to knock out some of the ai easier than the lower-level monsters. it wasnt a bad game, it was just a bit boring. i think the same holds true here. there isnt a lot of strategy, most of the times i was knocked out, i was just a bad boxer. it was just like you press the punch button and one of those guys you werent supposed to punch is just flat on his ass. haha. there isnt much to it, so once the novelty wears off, you just press the button and you get knocked out. there is no strategy whatsoever, no real health, no health bars, no defensive moves, no one will even try to catch you in a cheap shot. there isnt even a way to protect your own body. you can only protect your head. i mean, i could get into a real boxing match, but i wasnt having any fun. it wasnt fun beating the ai, and it wasnt fun beating the monsters. its just a punching sim. thats not a bad thing, but it just didnt grab my attention. your mileage may vary.
