    Galaxy Trucker: Extended Edition With Keygen

    Oh, the irony. My first connection to this set of games involved transferring “Z-rings” from the prototype game, which I developed in college, to the newly purchased copy of Galaxy Trucker: Extended Edition. That memory comes back to haunt me today when I realize that the starships I’m “flying” are actually completely blocky and have a round/square shape rather than the complex geometric style from the prototype game. The Rulership is a propitiously named piece of machinery – or should I say piece of junk, since, according to the manual, it only “works” if the space “blanks” the ship. And there’s no mention of the Death Star, presumably because the game designers thought that the Death Star was only relevant to the war they had imagined. Anyway, my first thought as I load the game is, “These are the same ships I was piloting in the prototype, but no longer!”

    Once I get past that initial response, it becomes apparent that I’m not actually having any “negative” effects from playing the prototype. The game plays very well, with two simultaneous, fast-paced combat rounds, two phases of movement, and a very smooth, evocative motion. This is the Galaxy Trucker “theme” I had envisioned when I designed the original game; it just requires a bit more finesse in the translation to a digital game than a physical one.

    But do I still need the original games? I mean, I only paid for the Extended Edition after all. Perhaps not. I guess there is something to be said for the additional gameplay in the game. Then again, maybe I should have played the first game first. So, if you’re wondering if you need the original version of Galaxy Trucker: Extended Edition, or simply the Extended Edition, the answer is – well, its really up to you.

    If you play the original version, you get the same experience as the Extended Edition, but you also get a game that is better suited to the “board game” style. If you play the Extended Edition, you get the extra features and bonus content that have been added to the game. But, of course, if you already have the original Galaxy Trucker: Extended Edition, then you have to make the choice to get the new content.
