hi so i have the legit game and i downloaded the dlc unlocker first. then i did all of the steps shown here. after i selected the dlcs i wanted, they downloaded, then i moved them to the installer_ folder (not extracted) opened my sims game, it still says i need to download/install the worlds. so i tried extracting the crack zip file. no luck. i was confused because one part of the directions say to extract on anadius sins forum but the pop ups said do not extract so im not sure which applies to me. im also not sure that those are where i was supposed to put them. the forum says to put them in the dlc installer folder but only see installer_ under me ea/sims 4 folder. so im lost at this point. ive been trying to do this over the past 3 days but am still confused.
hey so i am new to the community. just stumbled upon this site. im so excited to find this. ive been searching for a fix to this error code for so long. im not that technical but i am a very good pc gamer. i tried using my task manager and using the find command that comes with it. that didnt work. so i tried using microsofts help forum and it said i need to use adastra (that they found me a link to download) but i cant find it. anyways i tried downloading the exe and the same thing happened. i never get to the “update ready to play” screen after downloading the dlc and i never get the option to unzip the dlc. i know i said im not technical but i also try to read the instructions. the instructions say to do it in the dlc installer folder. ive tried unzipping the dlc and renaming the dlc to the sims 4 name to no avail. i have tried unzipping to another location inside my ea/sims 4 folder. then i tried opening my sims 4 and clicking on the “install” button. i would be so grateful if someone could help me fix this. i dont think i will ever get this working unless i get a sims 4 folder with the patch on it. its very frustrating and i know i can get it to work. what am i doing wrong? is there anything else i can try? please help me out this community. thanks so much
