My thoughts are that this game is pretty much the typical RPG which is actually quite nice and easy to pick up and play (and it does a nice job of doing that) but I also felt that it’s a very generic RPG. It could be pretty much any generic RPG in terms of the way it plays.

There’s plenty of equipment to go around and plenty of quest items too, and the same goes for said equipment and quest items. The biggest issue with the game is that when you’re done in your basic quest, if you can even identify that much, you’re basically done. While the overall experience is quite nice, it’s not enough to make up for the lack of variety when it comes to the story and quest (there’s not many, at least the quests that we’re shown so far). This lack of variety also makes the game feel like it’s not as deep as it could be. We don’t really see enough of the world’s culture either for it to be immersive.

There’s no magic system in the game, so there’s no real problem with that but, again, this lack of a magic system makes the game feel like it’s shallow because even the most boring quest has to be told with the use of magic so it makes the game feel lacking in depth. While the story is pretty generic at first, it eventually starts to go into details and that’s where it gets a bit interesting. The voice acting is also done decently, though I have to admit that the game’s still quite generic sounding.

Pros:

– It has nice visuals and you can easily play a game for a few hours, even though it doesn’t get boring.
