“Since I was four years old I have been competing in sports and diving ever since, but in 2010 I discovered the thrill of competitive diving. I joined the USA Diving Junior Team in order to prepare for the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara. In January 2011 I was part of the U.S. Diving team that won the bronze medal. It was an amazing experience.

I then joined Elite Athlete Institute in 2011 and after graduating in 2012, I made the decision to pursue competitive diving at the Olympic level. My coach and mentor at Elite Athlete Institute was Kevin Bainbridge, who is also on the Pan American Games team. We train together a few times a week and are a great team. I also was fortunate to join the U.S. diving team in 2012.

I have participated in the Olympic Development Program for the past three years and have been fortunate to get to travel and compete in various summer and winter events. I was fortunate to make it to the Senior Pan Am Games in December 2011 where we placed 3rd.

This summer I was selected to represent the US at the 2012 Aquatics Pacific Challenge and was the first diver to compete in the competition. I placed in the top three in my preliminary round and placed 6th in finals.

Throughout this winter I have been training with a new coach of my own at Diversions. Darin Meyer has helped prepare me for the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London and I feel extremely excited to represent Team USA at the Olympic Games.”
