How to run application at boot time

I want to run my application at the startup.
I tried adding app.exe -m myconfig.cfg -i %I in order to access the application settings, but i get the error

An application configuration file was not found.

I know it should be simple, but i’m just a beginner.
I’m working on Windows 7.

1) Create a batch file (app.bat) in the directory where the application is installed.

I am working on a customer portal system which uses Magento as the e-commerce platform.
The customer can view the products and I am looking for a way to allow them to save the products to their accounts.
For example, they visit the website and they see a product that they like. They can then click on the product and this opens up a new page. On this page they can view and save the product details. When they click “add to cart” they are taken back to the original page.
The back end of the website will only be accessible by those with a specific role, which also allows them to view the products in the front end of the site.
