I have tried this on my sister’s windows pc. She had no idea about the password, so I had to explain that Autodesk was not a default application and that her autocad registration key had been inactivated. She did manage to find out the password on her own and give it to me.
Now I have been downloading a few parts and I see that the authentication is not working. This is after I follow the same instructions as above. If I enter the wrong password the message box says “authentication failed”.
