A print jam can be caused by the presence of paper, damaged paper, or a jammed printhead. The print head can be cleaned using a flexible cloth. Do not use any other materials or solutions. If the print head is damaged, the printer cannot print a document. If you suspect a print jam, remove the paper roll from the printer and turn it to the front of the machine. Then, flip it back and remove the paper roll from the printer. Do the same for the paper feed. If that fails, turn off the printer and remove the two front cover panels. Then, replace the panels and turn the printer back on. If the printer is making a continuous sound, the fan is running and causing a lot of noise, and the print head is not cleaned properly, then the print head is likely damaged. Contact a local Epson repair service center to get it fixed. To identify other possible causes, check the manual for your Epson printer as well.

You can also use your printer’s controller to reset the printer. To do so, turn the printer’s power off. In Windows 10, touch the power button on the front of the printer, and then tap the Windows logo icon. On Windows 7 and 8, go to the Start menu and then click on Settings. Scroll down and click on Power. In the Power Settings page, touch Restart, and then touch OK.

To reset the Epson L3115, go to Start, search for and open Control Panel, double-click on Device Manager, and open the tabs on the left side. Then click on the Epson L3115 printer in the list of devices that are detected on the right pane.
