1. Create a New Image
1.1. New Image is best to set your theme and choose your image type.
Select New → New from the File menu, and choose the option that best fits your images.

You can use the templates option to create a wide range of preset image styles.
1.3. Select a Theme
When you open the New Image dialog, you’re presented with a scrollable list of the templates. The list shows the settings for your photo, including size, resolution, color mode, orientation, type, and whether or not it’s a simulated color image.
The settings also affect image quality, such as sharpness, exposure, and noise.
You can see a preview of the image you’ve chosen, and you can zoom in and out of the preview window. Click the button beside the image to open the browser window and see the full sized image in its native format.
1.4. Add and Retouch
The Add and Retouch panel on the left hand side allows you to add hotspots and text, retouch objects such as people or objects, create a mask and add a filter, apply some filters on a layer, and duplicate an image. There are also other helpful tools like panoramas, color labels, gradients, and transform.
Press Control + or Command + I (Mac) or Control + or Command + 0 (Windows) to open the Add and Retouch panel.

Skin lesions are a common problem in dairy goats. Yet the studies about their prevalence and risk factors are inadequate and inconsistent. The aim of this study was to determine the factors associated with the occurrence of skin lesions in dairy goats. The information was collected by interviewing owners of 230 goats living in breeding units from 15 states in Western, Central, and Southeastern Europe. Skin lesions were observed in 82.6% of all goats, and 95.6% of the goats were considered to have some kind of skin problem. Lesions were most frequent on the muzzle, the head and ears, and the scrotum and vulva. The age, location, time of keeping goats in the breeder, and breed were the risk factors related to the occurrence of skin problems. Older animals were at a greater risk of developing skin problems. Goats kept in the breeder for a longer period of time, were most frequently affected by skin problems. Goats kept as a single animal were more often affected by skin problems than goats kept in larger herds and kept for shorter periods of time. Goats of the Toggenburg breed were twice as often affected by skin problems than goats of other breeds. The prevalence of skin lesions in dairy goats is very high. The study showed that a larger number of factors were associated with the occurrence of skin lesions than previous studies. In conclusion, the study showed that different factors are associated with the occurrence of skin lesions in dairy goats. This study should be considered in future studies.Soma Mukherjee
