**How the Photoshop Layers System Works**
Photoshop’s layers system works in a similar way to layer editing in other types of design software. Think of it as if you are making multiple layers in a traditional _background, text, pattern_, or _image_ (just like the example of the sketch in Figure 2.6). You can see how this works visually by looking at the layers panel, the panels on the left side of the Photoshop workspace, in Figure 2.7, and the Layers panel, the panel on the right side of the workspace, in Figure 2.8.

To add more layers, click the Add Layer icon in the layers panel to open the Layer menu. You can have only one layer at a time open. Right-click the layer you want to select from the list and choose Convert to Layers from the pop-up menu. You can also select the Layer menu and choose Layer from the list and then the Convert to Layers option. Either method opens the converted layer in the Layers panel. You can drag a new layer onto a different layer in the Layers panel. This creates a new layer under the other, or “child,” layer. You can edit both layers at the same time, as long as you don’t make changes to the layer you want to appear on top.

What is Photoshop Elements?
It is a free version of Photoshop that you can download on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS X, and other platforms.
Elements is part of the Creative Cloud desktop suite, although it can also be downloaded without using the subscription. It is a complete tool for all the common graphic design, illustration, photography and multimedia editing tasks.
It’s useful for people who are not regular Photoshop users because it contains a simpler interface than Photoshop, and it contains many of the basic features.
Please note that we will not describe how to install Elements since the installation process is very similar to Photoshop (both are downloadable as a single executable file).
What is Photoshop Elements?
The Photoshop Elements application contains all the features of Photoshop and Photoshop CS. It was first launched in 2001. It includes all the features of both Elements and Photoshop.

Objective: To explore the clinical outcomes of surgical treatment of acute type B dissection with complete heart block. Methods: From January 2008 to December 2015, 37 patients underwent surgical treatment of acute type B dissection with complete heart block. All patients were diagnosed by transthoracic echocardiography or transesophageal echocardiography, and confirmed by cardiac catheterization or surgery. Patient demographics and operative variables were collected and analyzed. Results: Median age of the patients was 48.5 years (20-73 years), 31 males, with body mass index 24.8 kg/m(2) (20.8-36.5 kg/m(2)). The median time interval between the onset of symptoms and operation was 5 days (1-11 days). The median time from admission to operation was 4.5 days (0.5-29 days). The median time from admission to operation was 3 days (0.5-20 days). The median time from admission to operation was 10 days (0.5-29 days). The median duration of cardiopulmonary bypass was 101 minutes (60-170 min). The operative mortality was 2.7%. The median follow-up time was (8±2.3) months. There was no new onset of heart block. Conclusion: Early surgical treatment of acute type B dissection with complete heart block can be performed successfully with low morbidity and mortality.Q:
Content injection: How is it possible to add a custom search box on Google map for specific address
Recently I have faced an issue while attempting to create a custom search box on google map with a div. I have generated the exact map as seen in the snippet below. The map is based on Javascript API 3 and mapsdk-api3-javascript-3.5.3.
Issue:
When I try to add the search box in the center by passing an address to that search box, nothing happens. At times even the search box is not visible. I understand this is the case of cross-site scripting, but i couldn’t find a proper solution to this issue.
Also, is the map generating with the id 3 only? If so, does that mean google API does not work for multiple id?

Predicting other-directed behavior: testing a hierarchical social hierarchy model and a theory-based local shared context model in imitation.
This article aims to improve our understanding of the processes involved in imitating an observed other-directed person. The aim of this research was to compare and contrast 2 cognitive models. A hierarchical social hierarchy model (HSM) proposes that an observer imitates other-directed behavior based on information about the observed actor’s position within a social hierarchy. In contrast, a theory-based local shared context model (T-LSCM) proposes that an observer imitates other-directed behavior by considering and acting upon the observed actor’s position within his or her shared context of social interaction. Two experiments assessed whether models capturing actor and observer position within a hierarchy (HSM) versus actors and observers within a shared context (T-LSCM) better predict the timing of imitative responses to other-directed behavior. We found that, in both experiments, the HSM predicted that imitations took place at the correct moment, whereas the T-LSCM did not. A follow-up experiment indicated that this was not a result of a temporal lag between the HSM’s and T-LSCM’s temporal predictions. Rather, it suggests that the HSM matches the T-LSCM in terms of the processes that control imitative behavior. Implications of these findings for models of social interaction and role-taking are discussed.Q:
