The software is very high tech and very easy to use. It is perhaps the best riding trainer available at the moment. My first experience with the Tacx trainer was a disaster. I bought a $2000 machine and it did not work and has been fixed ever since. I now use Tacx with nothing but praise for its functionality. Tacx gives all the tools, information and advice that you need to get riding no matter what level you are at. All you need to do is get it to start and ride!!!

I have just come into contact with the Tacx trainer after reading the reviews on many blogs. I signed up online for the trainer and had a good friendly email contact with the buyer direct. The email was about the software and the screen on my was very low resolution. It also seems the new software is not able to export to GPX, either it is not compatible or I am doing something wrong. It still works well with the older programs but I think I will look for other options. I am considering the TTS38 which is very similar to the TTS4 but seems to be a better quality product. It is very slow to produce good riding routes because it has to load the racers at each turn so my wife has had to do most of the rides. It is also only to my knowledge a single rider as she has to cut the laps off. The TTS4 needs only one rider. There is a lot to learn about software but Tacx is a great company and I will wait and see if the software bug gets fixed. There is no hurry for me unless someone is willing to send me the TTS38 for free. I have not contacted them about this as they do not seem to have a good sales process. I have recommended the TTS to many of my fellow biking buds who seem interested if the software. If any of them need a TTS38 I will be happy to part with one. If anyone is interested, please get in touch. I have tired to get a direct contact from their support team but still no luck. In any case good luck and may the force be with you at the handlebars.
