as for the game being a sim, well i havn’t played enough in the demo to tell. i think this game is a 8th of december release though, its not coming out any time soon. i can see where more is needed in the single player level. it’s a slow level, compared to the one i am doing it in and there is a bunch of points where you need to go inside for information. but for each level there is a control point. i love the music in this game, its gonna give your life a tempo and it sounds good. i think my next game is gonna be bf42, i am waiting for the pc version of that game, i think it has the best multiplayer on the pc. i had that game for the ps2 but i sold my ps2 in january and i think that was a freakin’ christmas card. do you think going into a fight with out all weapons can be a good idea. you always have the helicopter, but i’d like to know a few things before i go through a door. nvidia has teamed up with novalogic to debut the new multiplayer demo, plus a challenging single player demo for delta force: black hawk down. the multiplayer demo features team capture the flag gameplay along a river. in the single player mission you must locate and secure hostages while fighting a hostile militia. optimized for nvidia gpus, black hawk down harnesses the power of geforce gpus to intense render cityscape environments never before seen in a first-person shooter.

a heckler & koch g3sg1 is the main sniper variant, only armed to the sniper class of u.s. army special forces operators. since its appearance is one of the only major differences between its spartan and paratrooper variants, it is likely the spartan g3sg1 was not included in this map, but was merely a mistake in the level’s map data. it has a shortened mag release button and barrel unlike the g3g1 variant, and uses the actual hk416 variant barrel; this was probably because it is a spartan variant, while a paratrooper variant is carried. the g3sg1 has no distinct magazine release button, only the barrel.
the interiors are well modelled, but i dont think any of the buildings look like they were designed for a top-down view. too many buildings have doors and windows that are revealed from only a specific angle, or in this case, from nowhere. the map looks like it was made for a third-person shooter. for example, i could not even see a soldier looking around the corner of a building! the developers need to spend a week playing fps games like unreal tournament and unreal. there is also a tiny bit of a texture problem. even though there are no texture problems, the models look just a little bit too blocky for my taste.
if you havent played the game, play the demo. the demo takes place in an attack scene in mogadishu, which shows everything i like about the game. i am impressed by the amount of military equipment in the game. the objects of interest are the helicopters and jet aircraft. the jet aircraft appear to be movie clips. otherwise, the game is extremely realistic and this goes a long way to convincing the player that he is actually in combat. i recommend that you download and play the demo. i can say that once you are hooked, the game will be even more fun if you play it.
