The Piper J-3 Cub is a grasshopper of a little airplane that is a joy to fly. Its performance is not in the least affected by any aircraft you may have flown, and its simple controls allow even a new pilot to fly the J-3 at an advanced level quickly.
While its boxy shape hasn’t changed in decades, the J-3 has been updated with a series of advanced aircraft systems. It features the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, which displays all information clearly and in context so it’s easier for the pilot to understand what is important.

What this means is that the engine has an actual life. Good piloting skills are rewarded with longer life and more reliable performance. The engine also sputters, spits and runs rough when damaged.
The Cub used today has been greatly refined in comparison to the original. Cub models have been completely rebuilt and as a result, there have been some minor balance changes.

The Piper PA-28-181 Cub is a single-engine, low-wing, fixed gear aircraft first sold in the mid-fifties. Its design was inspired by the Wright brothers’ hang glider. It is a popular aircraft for simulated flying due to its simplicity of control and maneuverability.

The Piper J-3 Cub was launched in November, 2011 at the Aero India 2011 exhibition. Pipers rolled out the doors of the show at an astounding 35 minutes. Today, the now a stable and exacting piston engine.

    This Add-on Update will add an easily loaded Cub Pack consisting of a range of visually accurate and detailed scenarios for the Piper J-3 Cub including solo, formation, approach and landing C-172 missions. Incorporating the most advanced version 3.0 scenery content, and including the new Cub callsign “Jack” to the active license in the global variable “LicenseCurrAirc”, this add-on will significantly enhance the overall experience and satisfaction of your Cub C-172 flights. Additional content covers both solo and formation-based missions in order to offer a complete simulation of this iconic aircraft.

    The absolute majority of detail has been redone – everything from package colours to static particles, engine glare paths, textures, lighting, wings, engines and more. Work has also been done to ensure the emissions and IMD readouts are accurate. All of the current 3.0 layouts have been beautifully recreated so there is no need to re-adjust dials and widgets.

Ascorbic acid solution (Asc.aq) was used as the reducing agent of the sodium alginate polymer during the preparation of ECSA-Cs. We investigated the influences of the ascorbate solution preserved the treatment effects of ECSA-Cs in an in vivo study. Ten rats were randomly divided into two groups. Gastric retention time of ECSA-Cs coated with ascorbate solution was prolonged compared with that of ECSA-Cs without ascorbate solution after 60 min administration (10 rats in each group). The median (25% quartile, 75% quartile) of the gastric retention time in the ascorbate solution preserved group was significantly longer than that in the control group (7.5 (6.3, 12.6) vs. 4.8 (3.1, 6.9) min, P<0.05). There was also a difference in the median of gastric emptying time (1.2 (0.9, 5.4) vs. 4.9 (1.2, 7.6) min, P<0.01). These results clearly demonstrated that the efficacy of ECSA-Cs is enhanced by preservation of the ascorbic acid solution used in the preparation of the drug delivery carriers.
