Black Mirror Digital Extras Full Version

A Musical Based Game
Black Mirror is a dark and unsettling series that explored all aspects of human nature, from body horror to voyeurism and from computer hacking to emotional manipulation. After the fairly unsuccessful release of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories in 2009, the series died for the mainstream media.
But then in 2013, a two-part announcement trailer, featuring an atmospheric soundtrack, was released, followed by a new development blog in 2014. What followed was a series of new trailer reveals and interviews, as well as the continued development of the game on all fronts.
The game was finally announced in 2015 and since then I’ve been working on the game for three years, at my own studios (Studio Pankow). It is a turn-based, action-adventure card game based on Jumando’s award winning card game collection of the same name. We’re really proud of this game and I hope you’ll enjoy it!
Black Mirror will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Spring 2018 and is an audio-visual and audio-musical spectacle that promises to be an unforgettable experience!

    Black Mirror Digital Extras

In The Dark City, a young law enforcement officer and his mentor accompany a group of tourists on a tour of a small English seaside town to retrieve a stolen painting. Shortly after the group is ambushed by a band of criminals who attack from above with a flying car, the tour leader disappears, and the police officer begins to realize that he may have been targeted for a different reason.

Based on the award-winning novella by Mark Morris, In The Dark City is a psychological thriller which focuses on the inner workings of the human mind and explores the dark paths that it can lead us on.

In The Dark City is brought to life through a cinematic soundtrack by a critically acclaimed ensemble of musicians. Full of haunting strings and a slew of synth layers, the score takes the listener on a journey through a nightmarish cityscape where humanity’s darkest secrets lurk. In The Dark City is the first novella in the Black Mirror series to feature music by composer Benny Oschmann, who provides a chilling and original score.

On GameSpy, Iain Mew covered In The Dark City at the Game Developers Choice Awards. He gave the game a 9.0 out of 10 and wrote, “In The Dark City is a tense and memorable atmospheric experience with a musical score that feels so real and creates such an immersive atmosphere that you may not notice how much it is affecting you.”

“When something is this good, it’s a cause for concern,” said GameSpy.com Editor-in-Chief John Walker. “The reclusive mood of this wintry science fiction experience is not lost on its listeners, and it doesn’t matter where you play it. If you’re gaming at home or on the bus, you’ll get a similar sense of dread and uneasiness in the novella’s unique depiction of England’s dark inner cities. I was so immersed into In The Dark City that it felt like an FMV game, even though it’s a full-on adventure game with over 400 questions to be answered and quests to complete.”

Originally published in 1995, In The Dark City was created by award-winning composer Pete Burness, editor Tim Hall and writer Mark Morris. The game was a finalist for multiple awards and eventually went on to win the coveted Computer Game of the Year (CD-ROM) from the Interactive Achievement Awards.

Benny Oschmann’s soundtrack to In The Dark City, “Lillith”, is now available to
