The gameplay is simple and can be described as a silly version of the popular “Galactic Empire” spaceship game in which you defend your home planet from the evil alien invasion.
This game play has some differences from the original.
The core gameplay is that you are a fighter pilot, defending your home planet against an alien invasion.
You start your level with 20 ships, you first need to gain more and more ships and then you must shoot the aliens into space.
The twist to this game play is that you are defending the surface of your planet, not an orbit or something like that.
The aliens are attacking your surface and your ships will rise up from below the surface where your ships are.
It is a fun game.
So far the game is functional and seems to work well, some of the levels are missing, there is not enough about the game and it is not a complete game.
This is a good start. We will have a closer look after some more updates/patches.

A 4K screen displaying at 30-60FPS is a pretty badass feature. I wonder what
these people will make of ultra high resolution sims for today’s next gen
fantasy games.
Of course ray tracing doesn’t happen yet, and is already behind the bulk of
heatsinks (and probably cpu and ram cooling), but the very thought of it is
pretty nice.
Here’s some thoughts on how we can do this on consumer hardware
– Physically distort the screen and look at it a top down and a side down.

The RX 470 provides DX12 support. That means you can dynamically focus on an
arbitrary object and it’s going to work fine. The DX12 API is actually much
prettier than the DX9 API you get from Shaders in Windows, which is especially
useful given that you can (and have to) have multiple monitors over DX12,
dual/tri/quad monitors in Windows, and you can’t do that with Windows.
You also don’t need to rewrite your logic for scaling because it’s already
supported in DX12, so you can do full res on multiple monitors even without
fake scaling.

That makes sense. I tried DX 10 the other day on windows, and it was a bit
frustrating, I ended up pushing the game into windowed mode, but was still
annoyed by the blurry shit.
DX12 is definitely worth the effort for windows. It looks fantastic.
