I have started off with a book called the Nutshell Theory, by Gary Oakley. The Nutshell Theory is a straight forward book, explaining in a concise and lucid manner of only 300 pages, how to just be happy.

I like this book, because it has the message I want to give.

We are all entitled to be happy. It doesn’t matter whether you have everything, a big house, nice car, or a job that you really like doing.

Just remember, there is a person out there that is hurting. Someone who is angry that they don’t have what they want, so they are going to pick on you, or turn to drugs to feel better.

Your attitude towards this person matters. It is possible to be sad that you don’t have what you want, and still be happy with the things that you do have.

I really like the first few pages. The first page is a black and white photo of Gary Oakley.
