This game is a great RPG that is fun to play and has a great story. However, certain elements of the game like the camera may be problematic for some and the usual flaws of the RPG genre will likely bring on low but annoying immersion break moments, however, with patience these can be overcome and the game is fun despite this.

The game is very similar to Baccano but with the much anticipated customization of the styles. This can lead some to believe that this could be a clone, but it’s actually a prequel to Baccano, that tells the history of the kingdom before the events of Baccano. If you’ve played the games please check out the Baccano thread and their it’s the much better game.

– The characters are a tad underdeveloped, that can lead to low immersion
– The camera can be problematic when exploring.
– The game is sometimes glitchy
– Could be a bit grindy with the later dungeons and enemies
– The level of difficulty can be slightly frustrating for people who don’t want to take their time
– The translation is good, however, the game would benefit from a better translation on the Japanese side

Rh1p, as Big Huge Games describes it, tells the story of Tarnished, a survivor of a former powerful race with a cynical nature. After a fateful night, Tarnished is saved by an unknown person, who is found to be a part of a new, powerful, and mysterious race called the Elden, who have begun colonizing a terrible land known only as the Lands Between.
Rh1p is set to release in Q2 2011.
Like all Big Huge Games games, Rh1p will offer its players open ended content, in the form of multiple content patches, directly from the developers.
