One day, a great warrior from the Elf homeland in the west, the White Elf, by the name of Aldrin, will land in the Lands Between. He arrives to the aid of the Elden to support them in their battle against the Crimson Elves. However, a few days after he is in the Lands Between, Aldrin awakens and finds himself trapped in a world of upheaval, while the Crimson Elves, the greedy, power-hungry individuals that subjugate the Lands Between, use him as a puppet…

Undaunted, Aldrin sets out on a journey to end the oppression of the Crimson Elves and revive an old promise. He sets off on a grand adventure with many twists and turns.     This game is a serious take on the Japanese RPG. A

    real fairy tale story with a twist. It’s one I’ve wanted to see for some time and it’s ultimately stunning to play.

    The game runs well on the console with no major issues running on PS3 or PC. While it’s not immediately accessible to newcomers, the content is so rich that it manages to carry itself.

    Gameplay: 8/10

    This game is very similar to its console counterparts, with specific tweaks and considerations aimed at PC and console gamers. Some areas get major overhauls making them more complex, while others are made to be simpler without removing too many of the game’s depth. It’s a tale of a world broken and one people are trying to bring back together. The game combines an Action RPG and a JRPG to create a unique fantasy set in a fairy tale world. The game runs well and is smooth. I had no major problems and I had no issues running the game.

    The game’s core mechanics have also been polished to a shine, with the high level characters being able to block an enemy attack with their sword in real-time, for example. This gives you the sense of strategy and depth in the fights without making it feel like an auto-rolling RPG.

    I found some of the quests to be a little generic, especially the first few ones. It’s a vast world with numerous locations so it’s not like you can’t search something out at any time, but some of the dungeons are a little slow to enter and there are no fast travel options. This means you may find yourself running around for half an hour for a quest.

    One of my favorite additions to the game was the new cast of local NPCs. Each town has a story of it’s own with a cast of people trying to make ends meet and worrying about how they’re going to make it in a world torn by chaos. The game’s deep cast is the best part of the game and manages to make the game feel alive when you’re wandering around in town.

    This game is heavily story driven, which makes up the majority of the game’s issues. The game is incredibly slow to get going as your main character is in a coma, spending the first hour of the game wandering around the hospital. It
